The Bad

  1. Linval Joseph having foot problems again. It’s great that the big man in the middle was able to make his return against his former team, but he only got to play one defensive series before aggravating the injury and landing on the sidelines with his helmet off. He returned later in the game, but it was worrisome.
  2. Getting Teddy Bridgewater going offensively. At the beginning of the game, things were looking rough for Teddy trying to get things rolling. He looked like he was uncomfortable out there and relied on passing to Stefon Diggs or held the ball too long in the pocket.
  3. Andrew Sendejo’s lack of wrapping up. Don’t get me wrong. I love the big hit as much as the next guy. But you take those chances when you aren’t in danger of giving up a big play. When Sendejo went for the hit instead of wrapping up, it resulted in 6 points for the boys in blue.
  4. Converting third downs in scoring range. Points are good. I like that Minnesota put up 49 points against the Giants, but I would have loved some more touchdowns, especially in the red zone and on 3rd and short. Tougher defenses won’t be as easy to move the ball on, so execution is key.
