The Minnesota Vikings might have the small advantage of having a slightly warmer sideline in Sunday’s NFL playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks.

When the Minnesota Vikings moved into their temporary home of TCF Bank Stadium for the 2014 NFL season, the team surprised quite a few people by choosing the side of the field that was typically given to the visitors during college football games. However, that decision could pay major dividends for Minnesota on Sunday.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Vikings north sideline will the warmer of the two during what will likely be a sub-zero degree temperature game in the NFC Wild Card game. The guys in Minnesota will have the benefit of the sunshine to at least help them feel a little warmer.

It has been reported that high temperatures for this game will be in the low single-digits with a wind chill that will likely keep things below zero for the entirety of the game. There will also be heaters on the sideline, large coats and other items available for players and coaches to help them keep warm during the game.
