12. Week 7 vs. Lions – one yard to Kyle Rudolph
Vikings are down 17-6 to the Lions late in the second quarter. Hard to believe the Vikes were ever down that far against the pitiful Lions but Detroit did sort of smack them around early in their week 7 contest before the Vikes came back and buried them (and their season).
Needing a score to get the game close going into the half, the Vikings line up on the Detroit one for a third-and-goal play. Bridgewater fakes to Adrian Peterson and Kyle Rudolph leaks out into the open.
The Lions’ pressure makes it somewhat of a tough throw for Bridgewater who gets the ball off a little wide. Thankfully Rudolph is able to reach out with his big paw and make a one-handed snag.
