10. Week 15 vs. Bears – 17 yards to Jerick McKinnon
The Vikings lead the Bears 10-7 late in the second quarter and are looking to add to their lead going into the half.
Vikes have the ball on third-and-seven from the Bears 17 and go into shotgun with Jerick McKinnon lined up in the backfield.
McKinnon gets bumped by a Bears defender at the line but not enough to disrupt his route. He comes wide open in the flat and Teddy Bridgewater zings the ball into his hands. McKinnon turns it up the field, fights through a couple of atrocious tackle attempts by Chicago and scores.
Note that Bridgewater takes a low shot right in the knee just after delivering the ball. I would have given Bridgewater extra points for standing in against the pressure but I don’t think he ever saw the guy coming.
