9. Week 4 vs. Broncos – four yards to Mike Wallace
Vikings are down 13-3 in Denver, needing a score to get the game close going into the half. On first-and-goal from the four, Vikings line up in shotgun with three receivers in tight formation.
With two receivers and the tight end clearing everyone out, Mike Wallace comes on a crossing route from right to left. The play design works perfectly and Wallace is wide open. Matt Kalil allows his man to beat him but Bridgewater is able to get the ball off before the rusher can get there.
A great playcall by Norv Turner and Bridgewater makes a solid throw.
