The Minnesota Vikings have reportedly signed Minnetonka native and Hamilton Tigercats WR Terrell Sinkfield.
Gary Lawless of TSN reports that the Vikings have signed Terrell Sinkfield, a wide receiver who has spent the last two years in the CFL, most recently with the Hamilton Tigercats.
Sinkfield began his pro career as an undrafted free agent with the Dolphins in 2013 but was cut by Miami in May of that year. He was signed by the Packers in June of 2013 only to be cut a month later.
The Buffalo Bills gave Sinkfield a look in August 2013 but kept him for only a couple of weeks. The Giants then had him in camp for a few days before cutting him on August 25, 2013.
The 6-foot, 200-pound Sinkfield played college ball at Northern Iowa. He was not invited to the combine in 2013 but did work out at University of Minnesota pro day where he impressed scouts by running a 4.19 40.
Sinkfield’s blazing 40-time explains why so many teams brought him in for a look before and during camp in 2013.
