George Iloka and Jarius Wright tweeted emjois at each other, and it’s our job to figure out what it means.

Cincinnati Bengals safety George Iloka is a free agent this year and many people think the Minnesota Vikings should make a strong play to acquire his services.

The Vikings however are not the only team in the NFC North who could pursue Iloka. A report on Monday says the Detroit Lions may make a run at the 25-year-old safety.

This report evidently caught the attention of Vikings wide receiver Jarius Wright, who went on Twitter to send Iloka a message.

Wright tweeted emjois at Iloka, because that’s how you communicate now. Words are for suckers.

To which George Iloka replied:

No doubt, Jarius Wright would rather have Iloka as a teammate than a competitor in the same division.

But for Iloka to become Wright’s teammate, the Vikings will have to out-bid a lot of teams, including apparently the Lions.

Next: Reggie Ragland a potential target?

Iloka is young and he’s well-versed in Mike Zimmer’s system, having played for Zimmer in Cincinnati, but does that mean the Vikings should break the bank to bring him in?

The Vikings have a good defense, but clearly safety is their one big glaring hole. Signing Iloka for a ton of money would be one way to plug that hole.
