Raiders receiver Andre Holmes is reportedly receiving interest from multiple teams including the Minnesota Vikings.

If you’re a Vikings fan, you will know Andre Holmes as the Raiders receiver who burned Andrew Sendejo for a long touchdown last year.

Is it possible that Sendejo may soon be teammates with the man who torched him in Oakland? According to Pioneer-Press reporter Chris Tomasson, the Vikings have shown interest in the Raiders wide-out.

Yeah, a lot of teams are reportedly interested in Andre Holmes. That’s the kind of year it is for free agent wide receivers. Andre Holmes is apparently a sought-after commodity.

As some of you may recall, Holmes was originally signed by the Vikings in 2011 as an undrafted free agent only to be cut at the end of camp. Holmes was signed to the Cowboys’ practice squad in 2011 and spent the next couple years bouncing around before catching on in Oakland.

Holmes really came into his own in Oakland in 2014, catching 47 passes for 693 yards and four TDs. His production nose-dived in 2015 however: he finished with just 14 catches for 201 yards. He did have four TDs last year including the one against Andrew Sendejo.

Holmes has very good size at 6-4 and is pretty fast. The Vikings just lost Mike Wallace and likely are shopping around for a low-cost deep-threat receiver.

Next: Reggie Nelson not returning to Bengals?

The Vikings do have Charles Johnson coming back next season but he’s a bit of a mystery guest after the way his 2015 season played out. And Cordarrelle Patterson…cough cough.

The Vikings could of course address the receiver position in the draft. Josh Doctson and Laquon Treadwell are often mentioned as possibilities for the Vikings with the #23 overall pick.
