Anthony Barr and Eric Ebron got into a friendly little Twitter spat after Thursday’s NFL schedule release.

The Vikings and Lions play on Thanksgiving this year, and the trash-talking has already begun. Old pals Anthony Barr and Eric Ebron couldn’t wait until November to start riling each other up so they got to it on Twitter right after the schedule release.

Warning: Friendly good-natured humorous ribbing ahead.

Anthony Barr pretty much shut the whole thing down when he tweeted the scores from last year’s two Vikings-Lions games. Hard for any Lions player to trash-talk any Vikings player after those results.

Of course Ebron and Barr are friends so their “spat” was just them horsing around. Things will get a little bit more serious when the two teams hit the field for real later this year. The Vikes not only play the Lions in Detroit on Thanksgiving, they also host the Lions at U.S. Bank Stadium November 6.

Check out the full Vikings’ schedule right here. By now I’m sure you’re aware that Minnesota and Green Bay will play the first official regular season game at the new stadium on September 18. That one will I imagine also cause a little trash-talking.

By the sound of it, Anthony Barr is ready to roll right now. A lot of fans are ready to roll too but we still have to wait until September. In the meantime, you can always watch some Twins baseball. If you enjoy watching a terrible team.
