Kyle Rudolph threw out the first pitch before Monday night’s rain-delayed Minnesota Twins game.
Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph is definitely not a good luck charm when it comes to weather. Monday night Rudolph took the hill to throw out the first pitch ahead of the Twins game against the Royals at Target Field, and by the third inning rain was pouring down and the tarp had to be dragged out.

The night’s dismal weather likely did nothing to dampen Rudolph’s spirits though. Besides throwing out the first pitch, Rudolph also revealed Monday night that he and his wife Jordan are expecting Twins.

Minnesota Twins. They’re having twins. Is that what they call synergy?
Rudolph was not the only Vikings player in attendance Monday night. In fact, a bunch of Vikings went down to Target Field to support Rudy and check out some baseball.
Thank you @twins for letting my wife Jordan and I announce our twins with some of my teammates!!! ⚾️🔥🎀🎀 pic.twitter.com/UVTMGvobAx

And they got to see the grounds crew in action too. Which to be honest is probably more entertaining than watching the Twins play baseball. Did I mention the Twins are awful?

All these Vikings are of course in town right now because the team kicks off a session of OTAs on Tuesday. According to reports, Adrian Peterson expects to attend this week.
Let’s hope the weather clears up so the team can go outside and get in some good work.
