Minnesota Vikings safety Andrew Sendejo has latched on to the Pokemon Go craze.

Is Pokemon Go an innocent fad or a harbinger of civilization’s collapse? Depends on who you ask.

People of a certain age I’m sure are convinced that the insanely-popular phone game, which encourages players to wander around real-life locations collecting Pokemon characters, is proof that the world will soon be coming to an end.

Ask folks of the younger generation (I hesitate to apply that loaded term “millennials”) and they will give a different account of Pokemon Go’s significance.

We’ve yet to see a lot of evidence that Pokemon Go is catching on with members of the Minnesota Vikings but we do have this tweet from Andrew Sendejo indicating that he is at least aware of the craze.

Sendejo’s attention here seems to be somewhat divided between Pokemon Go and…other considerations.

Does Andrew Sendejo know how to enjoy himself or what? When he’s not lounging around the pool with bikini-clad ladies playing Pokemon Go, he’s rappelling down buildings dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle or posting shirtless donut-eating pictures.

I’m sure Sendejo is also putting aside time to work in a little martial arts training as he prepares himself for the upcoming NFL season. In a recent Star-Tribune piece, Sendejo revealed that he’s been doing martial arts since he was five.

Next: What can Patterson learn from Antonio Brown?

What were you doing when you were five? I was playing in mud. I definitely wasn’t doing martial arts.

I wouldn’t say Andrew Sendejo is the most interesting man in the world, but he’s definitely more interesting than your average borderline-starting NFL safety.
