4. Teddy Bridgewater’s improvement

Teddy has already proven that he can be the answer for the Vikings. He does exactly what he’s asked to do, plays within the system, limits mistakes, and can make plays when needed to. The Vikings’ 11-5 record last year is proof that he is capable of leading the team to success.

However, for the Vikings to take the next step and become Super Bowl contenders, Bridgewater will have to prove he can do more than that.

With an improved offensive line and receiving corps, all the pieces are in place for Teddy to succeed. He will need to take advantage of his improved surrounding cast and show clear development this year.

Specifically, it will be important to see technical refinement (a higher release point), improved deep passing, and quicker decision-making from the young quarterback.

Teddy has already proven that he can successfully quarterback a team to the playoffs, but this year he needs to move closer to that upper echelon of QBs and show that he can really carry a team if need be.
