Training camp and preseason are a great time for fans of football. Your favorite team hasn’t lost a single game, everyone looks great in practice, and most things are generally positive from coaches and players in interviews.

That kind of positivity can yield some awkward results though. Too often, people buy into that hype and put unrealistic expectations on their favorite teams.
