Lukewarm take: Vikings going to the NFC Championship game

Last year, the Minnesota Vikings impressed a lot of media talking heads who didn’t think the team would amount to much in 2015. Winning their division and earning the right to host a playoff game, the squad fell within on field goal of advancing to the division finals.

That will change in 2016. Whether the Vikings have to play in the Wild Card game or they get a first bye, they will prove that this is a team on the rise and Mike Zimmer will get his first playoff win as a head coach. In fact, the team will reach the NFC Championship game, but they may not be ready to make the next step quite yet.
