Minnesota went on the road to Cincinnati, as the Vikings were set to take on the Bengals during their week 1 preseason game. The ties between the two franchises run deep, and you factor in the joint practices between the two teams prior to the game, these squads know each other fairly well.

With several members of the Vikings roster and coaching staff coming over from the Bengals, what might have been a friendly game may have taken on a bit of a personal turn, making this preseason game a little more meaningful.

However, the teams put a great effort on the field, with each squad having some great plays. Still, the Minnesota Vikings came out on top in the end, winning 17-16 in a game that went down to the final minute.
