Minnesota Vikings: Ragnar motorcycle for sale on Craigslist

Fans hoping to get a piece of Minnesota Vikings history can purchase the Harley Davidson motorcycle that former human mascot Ragnar rode onto the field.
It has been a while since Ragnar has been a part of the news. Minnesota Vikings fans got a bitter taste in their mouths when the former Vikings mascot was seen in a video wearing a Green Bay Packers cheese hat and chanting for the opposition.
But fans should also remember Ragnar for the good things he did during his time with the team. He brought smiles to the faces of many fans by dancing along with the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders or interacting with opposing mascots, but the best thing about Ragnar was when he would ride his motorcycle onto the field before games.
The revving of the engine over the sound of “The Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin was enough to get the blood pumping for just about any fan in the stadium. Now, a piece of that history can belong to you.
A 1978 Harley Davidson has been placed on Craigslist in the Minnesota area. This bike is listed as “Ragnar’s Vikings” and has a price tag of $7495.

According to a Ragnar website, this motorcycle is the first official bike Ragnar used as a member of the Minnesota Vikings. Photos show that the 1978 Harley Davidson FLH Shovelhead is identical to the one posed on Craigslist.
For many fans of the Minnesota Vikings, this is not only a great bike, but a piece of the team’s history. If you can look past the final impression the former human mascot left on the franchise and the fans, this motorcycle is a fun piece of the team’s history and something very rare and unique.
