#1: Cordarrelle Patterson’s pass catching

Absent from the team’s first preseason game. Patterson’s shoulder could be healed enough to allow him to participate in this game. If that is the case, all eyes will be on the former first round draft pick to impress.

He has posted several workout videos and there have been rumors of him honing his craft when it comes to routes and the playbook. However. there has been hype the past three years about him, and all it has led to at this point is a player who might be playing his last year with the Minnesota Vikings.

His route running, blocking. crispness, and rapport with the quarterback will all be under close scrutiny if he does take the field, as many fans are wondering if that may even be too little, too late for the physically talented player.

Hopefully, he can prove the naysayers wrong and show that the hard work this offseason has payed off.
