#2: More safety battles!

Just when you think you have a decent idea of who could be the starter at safety opposite Harrison Smith, the whole script gets flipped and you’re back at the drawing board scratching your head.

During the last game, Antone Exum made some plays he probably wouldn’t have last year. Jayron Kearse showed some flashes of brilliance. Michael Griffin had a nice pass defense. Andrew Sendejo is probably still the penciled in starter. And there are others in the mix as well!

There may have never been a more cluttered mess of players fighting for one spot in the history of the Minnesota Vikings, but it is very fun to watch all these guys fight it out. Eventually, one player will come out on top, but I love watching the battles happen.

I’m sure many people already have their favorites to win the job, but all bias aside, it is anyone’s job to win.
