Jhurell Pressley scores a touchdown for a 2nd time during the Minnesota VIkings week 4 preseason game against the Rams on a 106 yard kickoff touchdown.

If anyone is making the biggest effort to increase their value during the Minnesota Vikings final preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams, it has to be rookie running back Jhurell Pressley.

Not only did the young man have an impressive run on a quick pass from Brad Sorensen earlier in the game, but now he’s added one of the best highlights of the preseason with a big kickoff return for a touchdown.

Check out the video in this tweet from the official Minnesota Vikings Twitter account:

It’s amazing to watch the determination on this kick return. There were plenty of times when he was slowed down or a defender got a hand on him, but Jhurell Pressley continued to push on and fight everyone off of him while pushing toward the goal line.

Honestly, there isn’t much analysis to break down on a play like this. It’s just strength, speed, power, and determination that pushed this young man to go 106 yards and give the Minnesota Vikings a two-score lead during the third quarter of the game.

This might be the game where the Vikings realize that Pressley is a player that can be valuable to stash on the practice squad for the future if they decide to move on from one of their other running backs. Or maybe he can be an immediate threat to a guy like Matt Asiata right away.
