It’s an awkward time to be a fan of the Minnesota Vikings. We have to push our sadness aside for a while to watch the team finish their last preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams, but that also means that the regular season is right around the corner.

But the fans and players definitely showed up to play in this game. Despite many of the starters sitting the game out and a bit of a somber tone, the team put plenty of reasons in front of the fans to continue cheering in what some call the most meaningless game of the season for teams.

The game is far from meaningless for many of the guys who could be getting their last chance to be an NFL player. The final cuts to get the team to a 53 man roster are only two days away, so many of these guys are doing everything they can to make a good impression on the Vikings or other franchises.

The Minnesota Vikings ended up beating the Rams by a final score of 27-25, but there was some good stuff, bad things, and interesting occurrences during the contest. Let’s start by talking about the good stuff!
