Brock Osweiler throws 3+ interceptions

The Minnesota Vikings have made some of the best quarterbacks in the NFL look bad this year, holding Aaron Rodgers in check and intercepting reigning NFL MVP Cam Newton three times. Brock Osweiler is not one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

With five touchdowns and six interceptions through the first four weeks of the season, Osweiler has been disappointing, definitely not living up to the $72 million contract that he signed over the offseason.

Now facing arguably the best defense in the NFL and one of the most creative defensive coaches in the league, expect Osweiler to struggle mightily against the Vikings. Mike Zimmer has proved to be an elite defensive mind through his first three years with the Vikings, specializing on confusing quarterbacks with his unique gameplan.

When that coaching is combined with the young and athletic stars that the Vikings boast on defense, Osweiler doesn’t stand a chance. The Vikings already rank second in the NFL with 11 takeaways in their first four games, and expect Osweiler to contribute at least three more interceptions to that number.
