Vikings record 6+ sacks

After being held to zero sacks last week against the Giants, the Minnesota Vikings pass rush is ready to explode against a relatively weak Texans offensive line this week.

Despite the lack of sacks, the Vikings defense was hardly kept in check by the Giants offensive line, as the pass rush consistently impacted plays and repeatedly made Eli Manning spike the ball on the ground in frustration.

Even after failing to finish plays and get even a single sack against the Giants, the Vikings’ powerful defense still ranks third in the league with 15 sacks, behind only Arizona and Denver.

This week, the Vikings should get back on track in a big way, finishing the plays that they barely missed on last week. Led by Everson Griffen, Anthony Barr, Linval Joseph, and Danielle Hunter, the Vikings will get past the Texans offensive line all day to the tune of six sacks.
