The Minnesota Vikings’ head coach appeared on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Monday and gave listeners the latest on the team’s injured quarterback.

As each month goes by this offseason, more and more questions will arise about the health status of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. The path of rumors surrounding Bridgewater and his road to recovery can be quite a long one depending on which route is taken.

On Monday, Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer was interviewed on SiriusXM NFL Radio and talked about Minnesota’s former first-round draft pick.

It does not seem like much, but Zimmer providing even the slightest bit of details about Bridgewater’s rehab process should be a positive sign for the quarterback’s chances of hitting the field again. Especially since the Vikings’ head coach is never one to spill the beans on something he does not want to the public to know about.

From past reports and what Minnesota’s head coach said on Monday, Bridgewater’s chances of playing again for the Vikings do seem to be heading in the right direction. Now, the team just has to wait and see when that will actually happen.

Luckily, Minnesota has a capable quarterback in Sam Bradford to lead the offense for at least one more season.

But after 2017, who knows? But the hope is that Bridgewater will be ready by then to take back the reigns as the team’s top signal caller.
