Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway finally decided to call it a career following the 2016 season and now the team needs to figure out who can replace him on the roster. Greenway did not spend a lot of time on the field during his final year in Minnesota, but his position is still one that is now a weakness for the Vikings heading into next season.

Reddick actually joined Temple’s football team as a walk-on defensive back and eventually made the transition into an impressive defensive end. His size translates to an outside linebacker in the NFL and he is fully capable of fulfilling the duties that come with the position.

With Reddick in the lineup, the Vikings would possibly be more inclined to use their base defense more often. As he would not be as big of a liability in pass coverage as Greenway was towards the end of his career.
