This game marks the start of a three game road stint for the Minnesota Vikings beginning in Detroit. This game played on Thanksgiving is the second straight Thanksgiving game between the two teams.

Last year the Lions got the best of the Vikings in both meetings. Both games were winnable by the Vikings. Look for the Vikings to get their revenge on their divisional foe that kept them out of the playoffs last season.
