John David Booty, QB – 2008

Not only is Booty one of the least memorable players to be drafted by Minnesota, he is also one of the least memorable quarterbacks to play at USC. Matt Cassel is more notable than Booty and Cassel did not even start while he was at USC.

But the Vikings felt good enough about the young quarterback to use a fifth-round pick on him in 2008.

The one thing Booty may be known for during his time with the Vikings is when he switched his jersey number to nine after he gave up his number four to some gray bearded gunslinger in 2009. The new number did not do much for Booty as he was cut by Minnesota during the middle of the 2009 season to make room on the roster for an offensive lineman.
