The Minnesota Vikings ended their busy Saturday with a total of four selections in the seventh and final round of this year’s draft.
On the final day of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings ended their day by adding four more players to their roster in the seventh round.
With their first choice, the Vikings decided to add another offensive player to this year’s draft class and chose Miami wide receiver Stacy Coley with the 219th overall selection. The 6-foot tall, 195 pound Coley caught 63 passes for 754 yards and nine touchdowns for Miami in 2016.

Minnesota also had the pick immediately following their selection of Coley and opted to grab Northwestern defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo with the 220th overall pick in the draft.

A bit on the smaller side for his position (258 pounds) but Odenigbo and has 4.7 speed and showed the ability to consistently bring down the opposing quarterback while at Northwestern (23.5 career sacks).
With their third seventh-round selection of the day, the Vikings decided on Kansas State linebacker Elijah Lee.

Lee could be that hybrid type of linebacker/safety Mike Zimmer had previously said Minnesota could be interested in landing in this draft. He played linebacker at Kansas State, but his current size (6-foot-3, 228 pounds) may be a little too small for the position in the NFL.
In 2016, Lee finished with 110 tackles (6.5 for a loss), 1.5 sacks, two interceptions, and one forced fumble.
To cap off their 2017 draft, the Vikings selected North Carolina State cornerback Jack Tocho with the 245th overall pick.

Tocho is the fifth player from the ACC taken by Minnesota in this year’s draft class.
Next: Vikings draft a tight end in the sixth round
Overall, the Vikings ended up making 11 picks in this year’s draft. The most they have ever had during a draft since 1992.
