By Adam Patrick
The Minnesota Vikings’ roster looks a lot different than it has the past few years. Which new players could help lead the team back to the playoffs?
After Wednesday’s signing of free-agent wide receiver Michael Floyd, the major offseason moves seem to be done this year for the Minnesota Vikings. Now comes the time to get everyone on the same page and turn it into success on the field during the upcoming season.
The Vikings of 2017 are certainly going to look much different than the teams they have had in the recent past. Nine players from their 2016 roster have departed and signed with other teams around the NFL including Matt Kalil, Cordarrelle Patterson, Adrian Peterson, and Captain Munnerlyn. There are also a few other players from last year’s team that are still free-agents including Shaun Hill, Zach Line, and Matt Asiata.
Overall the Vikings had to fill over 15 spots on their roster this offseason. It has now been two months since the new league year began on March 9 and Minnesota has been busy adding a bunch of new players to the team through free agency and the draft.
Of these new additions the Vikings have brought in this offseason, which will prove to be the best of the bunch?
