Peterson switches his season off

Following the Vikings’ first game of the 2014 season that resulted in a 34-6 whooping of the then, St. Louis Rams, Minnesota was feeling good about their chances for a successful year. That was at least until star running back Adrian Peterson was arrested a few days later for child abuse.

Peterson was accused of hitting his four-year-old son with a tree branch and causing multiple lacerations on various parts of the child’s body.

The running back ended up receiving a slap on the hand for his disgusting actions as he was ordered to serve community service and pay a measly $4,000 fine. But the biggest penalty Peterson received for his actions was the 15-game suspension handed down to him by the NFL following his arrest.
