Minnesota Vikings rookie Rodney Adams’ latest vlog offers a behind-the-scenes look as the wide receiver prepares for training camp

With just days to go before the Minnesota Vikings’ rookies report to training camp on July 23, rookie wide receiver Rodney Adams shared a quick look behind the curtains to show fans what goes into preparing for the NFL. The vlog, or video blog, shows Adams training with fellow Vikings receivers Adam Thielen and Moritz Böhringer among others, before talking about the upcoming season.

As Adams says in the video, this is just the first in a series of vlogs that will chronicle the rookie’s life as he adjusts to the NFL. Focusing on life beyond the football field, including “family, friends, and a lifestyle”, according to his description. The series figures to be a must-watch for Vikings fans.

As a fifth-round pick out of the University of South Florida, Adams has the opportunity to make a big impact with Minnesota in 2017 if he can impress the team’s coaches in training camp. He will be competing for the starting returner jobs as well as playing time at receiver, so the big-play threat has an important month ahead of him.
