Running Backs

  1. Dalvin Cook
  2. Jerick McKinnon
  3. Bishop Sankey
  4. Terrell Newby

Fullback

  1. C.J. Ham

Normally, Dalvin Cook being on top of the depth chart would be a surprise, but since Latavius Murray opened training camp on the Active/PUP list, it isn’t nearly as surprising or bold of a situation.

Instead, we see McKinnon at third and Sankey and Newby in the 3rd and 4th spots. While those two are longshots to make the team’s final roster, it is interesting to see how they are positioned on the chart.

Finally, C.J. Ham at fullback is a project that is intriguing. Minnesota used tight ends and even Linval Joseph as a lead blocker at times last year. And with Adrian Peterson gone, the need for a fullback at all is in question.
