Dalvin Cook, RB

Already listed as the top running back on Minnesota’s first unofficial depth chart, everyone will finally get a glimpse on Thursday of just how special Cook could be in purple this year. It is unknown exactly how much he will play, but the Vikings keeping him out on the field for at least the first quarter seems pretty reasonable.

It will be interesting to see how Minnesota actually decides to use Cook in their offense on Thursday as well. The Vikings have been lining him up in a variety of different areas on the field during training camp and that should continue to happen against the Bills as well.

Minnesota’s rookie running back wants to be the team’s starter in Week 1 and Thursday in Buffalo will be his first opportunity to prove why he is deserving of such a role.
