Vikings preseason Week 1: Who to watch on defense vs. the Bills

The latest player to hop over the border and ditch his ugly Green Bay Packers jersey for a beautiful purple and gold Vikings uniform, Jones will get his first opportunity to impress his new coaching staff on Thursday.
After the Packers used Jones in a variety of areas on the field during his time there, the Vikings will likely be keeping him lined up on the defensive front. In anticipation of his new role with Minnesota this year, he even added some extra weight during the offseason.
Even though Thursday’s matchup with the Bills is a preseason game, it will be a good test to see how well Jones performs against a talented rushing attack like Buffalo’s. A few impressive showings this preseason and the Vikings’ new defensive lineman could even begin the regular season as a starter on the inside next to Linval Joseph.
