Which players on the Minnesota Vikings’ roster helped or hurt their chances of making it to the regular season following the team’s first preseason game?

One preseason game is in the books for the Minnesota Vikings this year and their 2017 roster is getting closer to finalization before the regular season begins in three weeks. A number of players took advantage of their time on the field last Thursday against the Buffalo Bills, while others may now be closer to seeing their name on the cut sheet.

Different than years past, there will be no mandatory cuts until after the fourth and final 2017 preseason game. So most players who are currently on the bubble of making the Vikings’ roster still have three more chances to impress the team’s front office and coaching staff.

After Minnesota’s win over the Bills last Thursday, which members of the Vikings’ current roster improved their chance of making the final 53 and which players are now closer to being shown the door?
