Out: Moritz Böhringer, WR

Sure it was a pretty cool story to see Böhringer become the first player to ever get drafted out of Germany last year, but his fairy tale with the Vikings has not gone as he probably would have hoped.

Unlike last year, he was at least able to get on the field during Minnesota’s first preseason game last Thursday. He did not have any catches, but he did get a few opportunities to actually put his helmet on and line up as a receiver.

Perhaps he can catch on with another team, but Böhringer’s time with the Vikings will likely be over after these next three weeks.
