For the first time this preseason, the Minnesota Vikings will play a game in front of their home crowd at the beautiful U.S. Bank Stadium.

It has been more than eight months since the Minnesota Vikings last played a game at home in their purple palace known as U.S. Bank Stadium. But this Sunday, the Vikings will finally be making their home preseason debut when they face off against the San Francisco 49ers.

Minnesota’s play so far this preseason has been a little on the sloppy side and last week’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks was only the second time the Vikings have fallen in the preseason since Mike Zimmer became the team’s head coach back in 2014.

The third week of the preseason is normally when a team’s projected starters play for at least one half of the game, if not more. So following Sunday, there should be a pretty good idea of how Minnesota will perform during the upcoming regular season.

With more playing time expected for the majority of the Vikings’ top players, which members of their roster should the focus be placed on the most when they go up against the 49ers?
