Minnesota Vikings Preseason: Who to watch vs. the San Francisco 49ers
By Adam Patrick
Mackensie Alexander, CB
After a decent performance Minnesota’s preseason opener two weeks ago, Alexander had a few hiccups during the Vikings’ second preseason game against the Seahawks.
On one play last week, Seattle wide receiver Doug Baldwin ran a route that caused Alexander to turn his body completely around and it ended up resulting in a 37-yard catch-and-run for the Seahawks’ receiver. A small mistake in the preseason, but something that definitely cannot continue into the regular season for the young Minnesota cornerback.
But despite a few mishaps against Seattle, Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer does not seemed worried one bit about Alexander’s chance for success this year.
