Minnesota Vikings Preseason: Who to watch vs. the San Francisco 49ers

Mitch Leidner, QB
A few heads were likely scratched with confusion when the Vikings announced the signing of Leidner last Sunday.
The quarterback was not exactly what one would call a “superstar” during his days under center at the University of Minnesota. Does Leidner have a shot at making the final regular season roster? Not even Floyd Mayweather would place a bet on the chance of that happening, but he could play himself into a role on Minnesota’s practice squad this year if ends up making a few plays during the team’s next two games.
