What should you be watching for when the Minnesota Vikings take on the San Francisco 49ers at U.S. Bank Stadium in week 3 of the NFL preseason?

The Minnesota Vikings take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night at U.S Bank Stadium in their 3rd preseason outing. Despite the relatively mundane exhibition games we have been subjected to so far they have certainly been intriguing. Despite the limited playing time for starters there has been plenty of takeaways, with the Vikings showing promise in numerous areas and reasons for concern in a few others.

Typically the 3rd game is when a team’s starters will receive the majority of their pre-season snaps and give those watching the biggest insight into what to expect in the impending regular season. With that in mind I take a look at the 3 most important aspects to watch when the Vikings make their 2017 home debut.
