For a number of players on the current Minnesota Vikings roster, Thursday’s final preseason game will also be their final time in a purple and gold uniform.

It kind of seems like the 2017 NFL preseason just began and yet here we are getting ready for the fourth and final preseason game of the year for each team. For the Minnesota Vikings, they will be playing their second straight game at home in a matchup with the Miami Dolphins.

The Vikings will likely be seeking revenge against the Dolphins for their loss in Super Bowl VIII (well no, not really).

But Thursday’s matchup with Miami will be the last opportunity to make Minnesota’s regular season roster for a lot of their players. Following the final preseason game, the Vikings must reduce their roster size from 90 to 53 by September 2.

Who will Minnesota’s front office and coaching staff be focusing on the most as they prepare to shrink their roster?
