Projecting the Minnesota Vikings’ first official 2017 depth chart
By Adam Patrick
Tight Ends
TE1: Kyle Rudolph
TE2: David Morgan
TE3: Blake Bell
In his sixth season with the Vikings, Kyle Rudolph remains the top dog when it comes to the team’s tight ends. Expect Morgan to assume a similar Swiss Army knife-type role to what Rhett Ellison had with Minnesota for the past few seasons.
Offensive Line
LT: Riley Reiff
LG: Pat Elflein (Rookie)
C: Nick Easton
RG: Joe Berger
RT: Mike Remmers
Reserves:
Rashod Hill
Danny Isidora (Rookie)
Jeremiah Sirles
Aviante Collins
The Vikings will begin the 2017 regular season with four new opening day starters on their offensive line. Elflein played very well this preseason and is well deserving of beginning the year as a starter. A few ball control issues this offseason is the only real reason why he will line up at guard and not center during his first year with Minnesota.
