The interesting things vs. the Saints

1. Moss gets inducted into the Ring of Honor

As Minnesota’s current group of players headed into the locker room after the second quarter on Monday, the fans in U.S. Bank Stadium prepared to honor one of the greatest to ever put on a Vikings’ uniform.

During halftime, Minnesota inducted former wide receiver Randy Moss into the team’s prestigious Ring of Honor. It was clearly something that humbled the former Vikings great as he struggled to keep it together for most of the night.

2. Adrian Peterson is old

In his return to Minnesota as a member of the Saints, Peterson’s night could not have been much worse.

The future Hall-of-Famer finished with just 18 rushing yards on six carries and one mean glare at New Orleans head coach Sean Payton. Should be an interesting year for Peterson with the Saints.

Perhaps he will even make it to the end of the season without a complaint? Sorry, that was a bad joke.
