After the Minnesota Vikings were without the quarterback during Sunday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team’s head coach talked about Bradford’s injury.

Heading into Sunday’s game with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Minnesota Vikings already knew they were matching up against a tough opponent. Their task only became tougher when the Vikings opted to sit quarterback Sam Bradford and start Case Keenum in his place.

Minnesota decided to keep Bradford on the sidelines this week due to an injury to his left knee. It seems to be nothing too serious at this point. But being that it is still pretty early in the year, the Vikings did not want to take a chance on the quarterback worsening his injury and missing even more time this season.

Well Minnesota ended up losing on Sunday to the Steelers and obviously Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer was asked afterwards about his quarterback that did not play during the game. However, his answers did not provide much insight into the current situation.

Zimmer’s frustration with his team’s performance on Sunday did not exactly put him in the best of moods for the post-game presser. But the head coach still continued to field questions about a player who was not even in action against Pittsburgh.

Eventually, Zimmer just said enough.

This week’s outcome against the Steelers was obviously not one the Vikings had envisioned, especially after how well they played in Week 1. But it is going to be a very long season if Zimmer thinks that he is not going to get anymore questions about Bradford.

Just wait until Teddy Bridgewater gets added to the active roster.
