The Good Stuff

1. Keenum lights up the Buccaneers

Having never lost a start when facing Tampa Bay during his career, Case Keenum continued his success against the team from the NFC South on Sunday.

Minnesota’s backup quarterback threw for 369 yards and three touchdowns against the Buccaneers. In “case” anyone was wondering, his passing yard total on Sunday set a new career single-game high for himself.

2. Turnover-palooza for Minnesota’s defense

After not forcing their first two opponents to turn the ball over this season, the Vikings’ defense forced Tampa Bay quarterback James Winston to throw three interceptions on Sunday. Hopefully this turns into a trend for the Minnesota defense this year.

3. Diggs and Thielen dominate

The Vikings’ receiving duo combined for 271 yards and two touchdowns on 13 catches this week against the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay really had no answer for one of the best young pass-catching tandems in the NFL today.

4. Dalvin keeps on Cooking

Minnesota’s rookie running back only touched the ball 14 times in the team’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. Well, the Vikings offense made sure to get their talented rookie a lot more involved in the game plan on Sunday.

Cook scored his first career touchdown against the Buccaneers and finished his day with 169 total yards on 32 touches. Minnesota certainly snagged a good one in the draft this year.
