Running back options for the Minnesota Vikings after losing Dalvin Cook

With Dalvin Cook set to miss the rest of the 2017 season, what should the Minnesota Vikings do at running back to give them the best chance to win games?

In Week 4 of the NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings lost 7-14 to the Detroit Lions at home in front of the crowd at U.S. Bank Stadium. However, that wasn’t the biggest loss the team experienced that day.

A non-contact injury brought rookie running back to the ground, grabbing his knee in pain. It was later discovered that the pain was being caused by a torn ACL, meaning that his rookie season was coming to an end.

It will be very difficult for the Minnesota Vikings to replace his production. However, there are some options for the team if they want to bring in a player to help fill the void.

Here are some of the alternatives the Minnesota Vikings have at running back starting with an in-house option.
