Linval Joseph, DT
A big key to the Vikings having arguably the NFL’s best defense so far this year has been their ability to stop the run. For it being an area that they struggled in last season, Minnesota’s defense currently ranks third in rushing yards allowed per game in 2017.
Joseph has played a tremendous part in the Vikings’ improved run defense this season. Minnesota’s frightening defensive tackle has 18 run stops in 2017, which is the most of any NFL player so far this season.
The Vikings will need Joseph and the Vikings’ newfound ability to stop the run when they face the Ravens. Baltimore will be bringing the league’s sixth best rushing offense to town on Sunday.
