Check out these bold predictions from Week 7 as the Minnesota Vikings look to extend their win streak as they take on the Baltimore Ravens.
The Minnesota Vikings will have their second home game in a row as they take on the Ravens. The Vikings will look to have their first three-game winning streak of the year and continue their strong play at home.
The last time these two teams face was back in 2013 at Baltimore. It was a snowy day where both teams had huge fourth quarters as they combined for six touchdowns. The Ravens would edge the Vikings that day with a 29 to 26 win.
The Vikings will look for different results this week being at home. But let’s dive into the bold predictions for Week 7
#1. Kyle Rudolph will have 100 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns
Rudolph is having a decent season but has yet to have a big game. That will change on Sunday as Rudolph will have a big day. Stefon Diggs is out again meaning more targets for Rudolph.
He had nine targets last week and will be targeted heavily again this week. The Ravens are vulnerable to the tight end as they have given up six touchdowns to tight ends this season.
#2. Kai Forbath makes two 50+ plus field goals
Forbath has been perfect the last two weeks. After struggling the first four weeks of the season, it looks like he has figured things out. Last week he showed a strong leg as he made a 53-yard field goal against the Green Bay Packers. The Ravens defense is a good unit and could put Forbath in position for long field goals.
#3. Everson Griffen has the hat trick with 3 sacks on Sunday
Griffen is off to a hot start as he has 7 sacks through the first six weeks of the season. The Ravens have allowed their fair share of sacks on the season as they given up 12 sacks. Griffen will add to that total as “Sack Daddy” as a huge day.
#4. Xavier Rhodes will have a pick six
Rhodes is becoming one of the best cornerbacks in the league. He enters Week 7 with one interception which came last week. Rhodes will be defending Mike Wallace most likely which is the Ravens down the field weapon. Rhodes will get his interception and will take it to the house. He did it last year against the Arizona Cardinals.
#5. Jerick McKinnon has over 120 all-purpose yards
McKinnon has been a great replacement at running back. The multi-threat running back fits well in the Vikings scheme. He has caught at least five passes the past two weeks and has rushed over 60 yards both weeks. He is becoming the lead back for this team and his the safety blanket for Case Keenum.
#6. Marcus Sherels return a punt for a touchdown
Sherels has yet to have a big game returning punts this season but that changes on Sunday. The game on Sunday will be a defensive one giving many chances for Sherels to return punts. He has the ability to and this is a type of game that fits him. This game feels like the Carolina game last year where Sherels was able to return a punt for a touchdown.
