The Ups from Week 8 vs Cleveland

  1. Making good decisions. Minnesota made a lot of great decisions during the game, knowing when the take a knee or call for a fair catch plus adding solid tackling and situational awareness. Diving on the muffed punt and fumble were great as well.
  2. David Morgan showing up on the radar. Throughout the season, Morgan hasn’t been a weapon in the passing game. The team has been using him as a blocker, but he finally got to show off his soft hands, catching 3 passes for 28 yards.
  3. The Streak continues! Everson Griffen came into the game with a sack during each contest and that tradition continued. Even though it took until the final minutes of the game to happen, Everson has 10 sacks heading into the bye week!
  4. Jerick McKinnon still effective. McKinnon once again shined in both the run and pass game, making the case for him to get a larger split in the committee between him and Latavius Murray. So shifty and so fun to watch!
  5. The big boys in the middle. Tom Johnson and Linval Joseph are monsters. Those big fellows not only clogged up the middle with a few exceptions, but they were also able to win the battle in the trenches when rushing the passer. Sack City!
