TVA Presents: Bleeding Purple, a Minnesota Vikings podcast
By Adam Patrick
Adam Patrick of The Viking Age is now the new co-host of Bleeding Purple, a weekly podcast dedicated to everything and anything related to the Minnesota Vikings.
Listening to the same radio guys talking about the Minnesota Vikings is so five years ago. In today’s modern world, downloading free, commercial-free podcasts is the way to go.
There are already a few podcast out there currently that cover the Vikings, including the Purple People Podcast which is co-hosted by The Viking Age’s own Adam Carlson.
Well get ready to add another show to your podcast subscriptions as Bleeding Purple is now a part of The Viking Age family! This is a weekly podcast co-hosted by myself (Adam Patrick) and show creator Tyler Haag that covers just about everything having to do with the Minnesota Vikings (and some other non-related topics)
The podcast is available for download and streaming on iTunes, Stitcher, and YouTube. To keep up with the most recent episodes, make sure to follow the show’s Twitter and Facebook accounts and subscribe on iTunes and YouTube.
On this week’s episode, Tyler and I discussed a wide variety of topics related to the Vikings. Everything from the team’s underwhelming win over the Cleveland Browns, to when we think Teddy Bridgewater will make his return to the starting lineup, and much more.
Towards the end of this week’s show, Tyler and I handed out a few awards to Minnesota’s top performers so far this year, being that half of the season is already over (sad). Awards to for best offensive player, best defensive player, best special teams player, most improved offensive player, most improved defensive player, and top rookie were among those given out.
Despite the fact that the Vikings are off, don’t think for a second that there will not be a fresh episode of Bleeding Purple next week. Tyler and I will be back to talk about the latest team news and likely look ahead to the second half of Minnesota’s season.
Next: Vikings' top 3 plays from Week 8 win
