Minnesota Vikings offense grade: A-

The Vikings offense had a season-high 38 points in their seventh win of the season. Leading the Vikings offense was their passing attack that was on fire throughout most of the game. Case Keenum had a big game where he went 21/29 for 304 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions.

Keenum was very successful in the second quarter where he threw for three touchdowns. Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen and David Morgan II were the receivers that Keenum threw touchdowns to in the second quarter.

As good as Keenum was in this game the two late interceptions were bad decisions by him. The Vikings had a 35-17 lead when the interceptions occurred that allowed the Redskins to come back. Now the team should have run the ball with that big lead but Keenum can’t lob passes in the middle of the field either.

The dynamic duo of Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen were on full display Sunday as they torched the Redskins defense. Diggs had four catches for 78 yards and one touchdown. Thielen had eight catches for 166 yards and one touchdown. The two wide-outs are one of the best wide receiver combinations in the NFL when healthy.

Latavius Murray led the Vikings’ running backs with 17 carries for 68 yards and one score. Jerick McKinnon had a decent day on the ground as he had 10 carries for 32 yards. The one-two punch of these backs gave the Vikings enough balance and really open up the passing game.

Overall, the Vikings offense was clicking against the Redskins. A positive sign from this game for the offense is that they finished off the drives instead of settling for field goals. The offense is healthy and led by a quarterback they trust who can lead them to victory.
